We’re waiting to hear about publication of several research articles we’ve written using participants' questionnaire information as well as information from interviews with healthcare professionals. We’ll update you when they’re published. The articles aim to answer important questions about perinatal anxiety.

Here are some of the questions we'll be providing answers to:

What health and mental health services did women with and without anxiety use after birth and how much did the services cost?  Answers to this will help service planners and healthcare professionals to provide mums with the services they need.

What’s it like for healthcare professionals trying to identify and treat women with perinatal anxiety? What helps or hinders them in their job? Understanding more about this means healthcare professionals can provide better services aimed at meeting perinatal women’s needs.

What happened when we tried to find out about mental health support by accessing GP medical records for women who took part in our small medical record study? We learned lots about the challenges of carrying out this type of research and what might make it easier in future.

You can read more about each of the projects we’re writing up here.
